27Menu FunctionsLamp Settings• Lamp ModeSelect the projector lamp power from the following modes.• Normal: Provides full lamp brightness.• Economic: Reduces system noise and lamp power consumptionby 30%.If the Economic mode is selected, the light output will be reduced andresult in darker projected pictures. See "Setting Lamp Mode" for details.• Reset Lamp TimerActivate this function only after a new lamp is installed. When you selectReset, a "Reset Successfully" message displays to notify that the lamptime has been reset to "0".• Lamp TimeSelect to learn the duration (in hours) of lamp usage which isautomatically calculated by the built-in timer.Security SettingsFor security purposes and to prevent unauthorized use, you may set uppassword security for the projector. This limits use of the projector to onlythose who know the correct password. If you enter an incorrect password5 times in succession, the projector will automatically shut down in ashort time.You will be inconvenienced if you enable this function yet forget thepassword somehow. Do make a note of your password, and keep thenote in a safe place for later recall.You will be asked to set a new password if no password has been setbefore. As the on-screen display indicates, the 4 arrow keys ( / / / )respectively represent 4 digits (1, 2, 3, 4). Use the arrow keys to set a 6-digit password. The digits display as ****** when you enter them.• Change PasswordYou will be asked to enter the current password before changing to a newone.• Power On LockYou will be asked to enter the current password before changing thesetting.Once a password has been set and the power on lock is enabled, theprojector cannot be used unless the correct password is entered everytime the projector is started.If you forget the password, reset the password function:1. Turn the projector off.2. Unplug the power cord.3. Long press on MENU and until the power cord was plugged.4. Now the password function has been reset and the Power OnLock is Off. You can turn on the projector without entering anypassword. You can also activate the power-on lock functionalityas if you were setting the password for the first time. |
