51ENGLISH~ Insert a disc.The source changes to “DISC” and playback starts.Disc operationsThe disc type is automatically detected, then playback starts (for some discs, the top menu of the disc appears).If a disc does not have any disc menu, all tracks on it will be played repeatedly until you change the source or ejectthe disc.When playing back a multi-channel encoded disc, the multi-channel signals are downmixed.• You can fully enjoy multi-channel sound by connecting an amplifier or a decoder compatible with these multi-channel sources. (☞ also page 75)Label sideIf “ ” appears on the screen, the unit cannot accept the operation you have tried to do.• In some cases, without showing “ ,” operations will not be accepted.Discs produce very little noise compared with othersources. Lower the volume before playing a discto avoid damaging the speakers by the suddenincrease of the output level.Caution on volume setting:To eject a disc• You can eject a disc when playing other AV source.To prohibit disc ejection12 Press and hold AV MAP and any part of thescreen.A confirmation message appears.
