The volume changes to thepreset TA volume level (see page 17) and thetraffic announcement can be heard.• If the TP indicator flashes, TA StandbyReception is not yet activated since thestation being received does not provide thesignals used for TA Standby Reception.To activate TA Standby Reception, you needto tune in to another station providing thesesignals. Press ¢ or 4 to searchfor such a station.When a station providing these signals istuned in, the TP indicator stops flashing andremains lit. Now TA Standby Reception isactivated.7 When the current source is other than FM,the TP indicator lights up.If a station starts broadcasting a trafficannouncement, “TRAFFIC” appears on thedisplay, and this unit automatically changes thesource and tunes in to the station.To deactivate the TA Standby Reception,press TP PTY again. The TP indicatordisappears.
