34Convenient functions of disc/file playback■When a disc/file is played backPress [REPEAT].• Each time you press [REPEAT], the repeatmode changes.*1 Repeats the whole program during programplayback.*2 “STEP” is displayed during program/randomplayback.NOTE• Repeat playback can also be set using the menubar. (Referto page 37.)• The repeat mode is automatically canceled ifthere is a file that cannot be played back.Press [SURROUND MODE].• Each time you press [SURROUND MODE], thedisplay changes in the display window as fol-lows.- “AUTO SURROUND”When a multi-channel signal is input, surroundsound is automatically produced.- “MOVIE/M.MUSIC”Surround sound suitable for a movie or multi-channel signal is produced.- “WIDE/2chMUSIC”When a 2ch signal is input, surround sound isproduced.
