E-15 [BLANK/P] button• When BR-HD50 is in the STOP mode,press this button to start blank search. Itsearches the unrecorded part of the tapeand goes into the still mode.(XPage 54 “Blank search”)• During the STOP or REC mode, the audiorecording level is decreased. (Pressing simul-taneously with Q or S button) (When “Q,S” KEY FUNC. in the SYSTEM [1/2] Menuscreen is set to VAR/RECV)(XPage 44 “Adjusting audio recordinglevel”)• When the setting screen is displayed, thisbutton is used to select the items or setting. [SEARCH+/S] button• During normal display, the function of thisbutton can be selected using “Q, S” KEYFUNC. in the SYSTEM [1/2] Menu screen.If it is set to VAR/RECV, the searchingspeed increases if this button is pressedduring a search operation.(XPage 53 “Slow playback and Searchmode”)If it is set to INDEX, press this button tostart forward index search. This function isnot effective during recording or recordingpause.(XPage 54 “Index search”)• During the STOP or REC mode, CH2 isselected as the channel for adjusting theaudio recording level.
