9. Install the deck drive belt. Refer toTo install thedeck drive belt on page 21.To remove the pump belt1. Remove the deck drive belt. Refer toTo removethe deck drive belt on page 21.2. Remove the clutch stop to get access to thepump belt.3. Disconnect the clutch wire.4. Remove the belt from the engine and the pumppulleys.To install the pump belt1. Put the pump belt around the pulley on theengine and then around the left pump pulley.2. Put the pump belt around the inner side of theidler pulley.3. Move the idler pulley back and hold it and put thepump belt around the right pump pulley.4. Install the clutch stop.5. Install the deck drive belt. Refer toTo install thedeck drive belt on page 21.6. Do a check of the tension of the pump belt. Therecommended tension of the pump belt is 27 lb /12.25 kg.7. Turn the nut on the eye bolt on the idler pulley toadjust the tension of the pump belt.To do a check of the engine oil level1. Park the product on level ground and stop theengine.2. Pull open the operator cushion to get access tothe engine.3. Loosen the dipstick and pull it out.4. Clean the oil from the dipstick.5. Put the dipstick in the hole for the dipstick andtighten it.6. Loosen and pull the dipstick out and read the oillevel.7. The oil level must be between the marks on thedipstick. If the level is near the ADD mark, fill oilto the FULL mark.8. Fill the oil through the hole for the dipstick. Fillthe oil slowly.Note: Refer toTechnical data on page 29for the types of engine oil that Husqvarnarecommends. Do not mix different types of oil.9. Tighten the dipstick fully before you start theengine.To replace the engine oilIf the engine is cold, start the engine for 1–2 minutesbefore you drain the engine oil. This makes theengine oil warm and faster to drain.WARNING: Do not operate theengine for more than 1–2 minutes beforeyou drain the engine oil. The engine oilbecomes very hot and can cause burninjuries. Let the engine become coolbefore you drain the engine oil.WARNING: If you spill engine oil onyour body, clean with soap and water.1. Park the product on level ground and stop theengine.2. Pull open the operator cushion to get access tothe engine.3. Remove all dirt around the oil cap.4. Open the oil cap and remove the dipstick.5.
