A spark arrester is adevice designed to prevent accidental dischargeof sparks or flames from the engine exhaust.Spark arresters are qualified and rated by theUnited States Forest Service for this purpose. Inorder to comply with local laws regarding sparkarresters, consult the engine distributor or thelocal Health and Safety Administrator.Fuel SafetyWARNING: Take care when handling fuel. Bearin mind the risk of fire, explosion and inhalingfumes.• Only store fuel in containers approved for thepurpose.• Only refuel machine with engine OFF.
