To do a check of the emergency stop button1. Turn the emergency stop button (A) on the controlpanel clockwise to make sure that the emergencystop button is disengaged.AB2. Turn the ON/OFF switch (B) on the control panel to 1to start the motor. The LED adjacent to the ON/OFFswitch comes on.3. Push the emergency stop button.4. Make sure that LED adjacent to the ON/OFF switchgoes off.5. Turn the emergency stop button clockwise todisengage.Safety instructions for maintenance• Keep all parts in good condition and make sure thatall fixtures are correctly tightened.• Do not use a product that is defective. Do the safetychecks, maintenance and the servicing as given inthis manual. All other maintenance work must bedone by an approved service agent.• Stop the product when you replace the diamondtools. Turn the ON/OFF switch to 0 and push theemergency stop button.• Do the inspection and/or maintenance with the motorstopped and the power plug disconnected.• Do the maintenance to make sure that the productoperates correctly. Refer toMaintenance scheduleon page 16.OperationIntroductionWARNING: Before you operate the product,you must read and understand the safetychapter.To remove the product from thepackageWARNING: Move the product from the palletcarefully and safely. The product is heavyand can cause serious injury if it falls.• Make sure that all items that is shown in the productoverview, are included. Refer toProduct overview,right side on page 3. Speak to your Husqvarnadealer if an item is missing or damaged before youmove the product from the pallet.• Remove all package straps and wheel chocks.• Make sure that the area is clear and that you havesufficient space to move the product.• Make sure that there is no risk that you or theproduct can fall.• Use lifting equipment or ramps to move the productfrom the pallet. The product is heavy. Move theproduct safely. Refer toTo lift the product on page21.To do before you operate the product1. Read the operator's manual carefully and make surethat you understand the instructions.2. Put on necessary personal protective equipment.Refer toPersonal protective equipment on page 6.3. Make sure that only approved persons are in thework area.4. Do daily maintenance. Refer toMaintenanceschedule on page 16.5. Make sure that the product is assembled correctlyand is not damaged.6. Put the product on the work area. Make sure that thetransportation of the product to and in the work areais done safely and correctly. Refer toTransportationon page 20.7. Make sure that there are diamond tools on the toolplates and the diamond tools and the tool plates aretightly attached.8. Connect a dust extractor to the product. Refer toToconnect a dust extractor on page 11.9. Adjust the handle and the handlebar to an applicableoperation height. Refer toTo adjust the handle andthe handlebar on page 12.10. Make sure that the motor cable is connected to theelectrical enclosure before the product is connectedto a mains outlet. Refer toTo install and remove thegrinding head on page 17.11.
