Donot store, spill or use gasoline near an openflame.Read the safety instructions before refueling. Thecapacity for each tank is 5-1/2 gallons.Regularly check the gas cap gasket for damageand keep the cap correctly tightened. The engine will operate on a minimum of87-octane unleaded gasoline (no oil mix).Environmentally adapted alkylate gasoline canbe used. See Technical Data concerning ethanolfuel. Methanol fuel is not allowed. Do not use E85alcohol based fuel. Damage to the engine andcomponents may occur. When operating in temperatures below 32° F, usefresh, clean winter grade gasoline to help insuregood cold weather starting.WARNING! The engine and the exhaustsystem, become very hot during operation. There is a risk for burns if touched. Let engineand exhaust system to cool before refueling.IMPORTANT INFORMATION Experienceindicates that alcohol blended fuels (calledgasohol, ethanol or methanol) can attractmoisture which leads to separation andformation of acids during storage. Acidic gascan damage the fuel system of an engine whilein storage. To avoid engine problems, the fuelsystem should be emptied before storage of30 days or longer. Drain the gas tank, start theengine and let it operate until the fuel lines andcarburetor are empty. Use fresh fuel the nextseason. See Storage for additional information.Do not use engine or carburetor cleaners in thefuel tank or permanent damage may occur.TrackingIf the mower is not tracking straight, check theair pressure in both rear tires. Recommended airpressure for the rear tires is 15 psi (1 bar).1. Tracking adjustments are made using thetracking bolts. The tracking bolts limit themotion control levers when in the full-forwardposition.2. For preliminary tracking adjustment, moveunit to an open, unobstructed area such as anempty parking lot or open field.3. Using a 1/2" wrench, back the tracking boltsout until flush with nut.4. Test operate unit by driving it at full throttleand the full forward position on both motioncontrol levers. Gradually turn in the trackingbolt on the right hand side until the unitnoticeably starts drifting right.5. Drive forward at full throttle with both motioncontrol levers in the full forward position.Gradually turn in the left tracking bolt until unittracks straight.
