The workings ofthe camera are controlled by silicon technology that provides tre-mendous opportunities for sophisticated operation. For example,mirror return is slowed down at the last moment by controlling themotor. Usage status of the camera body is automatically recordedfor service intervals and so on.The integral ergonomic grip houses the main control interfaceand also contains the battery holder. An auxiliary shutter in therear opening of the camera body protects the sensor unit from ex-posure during the various camera procedures. The camera bodyalso contains the viewfinder screen, which can be easily removedor exchanged without the use of special tools or adjustmentprocedures.Please take extra care when handling the camera body without aprotective cover or film magazine to protect the auxiliary shutter.Likewise, the front opening of the camera body reveals the mirrorwhen unprotected by a cover or lens. Do not touch or attempt toclean the mirror yourself—marks or dust particles will not affectresults in any case. More noticeable problems, however, should betaken care of by a Hasselblad Authorized Service Center.
