Dampen the cloth (neverapply liquid directly to the screen), then wipe the screenwith the cloth.• To clean a CRT monitor, use a soft cloth and glasscleaner to clean the monitor screen. Squirt a littlecleaner on the cloth (never directly on the screen), thenwipe the screen with the cloth.Cleaning the mouseIf the mouse pointer begins moving erratically across thecomputer screen or becomes difficult to control precisely,cleaning the mouse will likely improve its accuracy.To clean the mouse:• Wipe the bottom of the mouse with a damp, lint-freecloth.Cleaning optical discsOptical discs (CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray Discs) get dirty fromfrequent handling.To clean an optical disc:• Wipe from the center to the edge, not around in a circle,using a product made especially for the purpose.CautionA flat-panel display is made of specially coated glass and can bescratched or damaged by abrasive or ammonia-based glass cleaners.
