System Board Components 15I2C ConnectorThis connector is part of the system monitoring. It carries the signals of theI2C bus which include identifying information and status for major systemcomponents.RAID Cage ConnectorThe RAID cage connector connects the SCSI backplane to the systemboard to allow status and monitoring of backplane and SCSI drive.System JumpersThese jumpers allow you to set certain characteristics of the system. Somejumpers are reserved and are not described in this section. Do not changeany jumper unless it is necessary to configure the system. In some cases, changing the settings of reserved jumpers can cause damage to the systemboard.Clear CMOS JumperThis jumper allows you to clear the CMOS memory. You should only dothis if you cannot access the normal methods of modifying the CMOS andmodifications to the CMOS are necessary. Clearing CMOS memoryreturns all BIOS Setup settings to the default values.CPU Speed Setting JumperThis jumper allows you to set the speed of the processor. Both processors,in dual processor configurations, must have the same speed rating. Ifprocessors of different speeds are used in the same system, the processorsmust run at the speed of the slower processor.BatteryProvides the power to maintain the CMOS memory when the system isturned off or unplugged.
