57Main Menu: Setup: GuidanceThe Guidance Setup Page controls how the GPS V responds when you depart froma route, how the Next Turn Page is displayed, and whether or not the GPS V shuts offautomatically upon arrival at your destination. The Off-Route Recalcuation settingdetermines whether the GPS V prompts you when you depart from the route, automati-cally recalculates the route without prompting, or ignores the departure from the routeand continues with current route navigation.You may enable or disable automatic display of the Next Turn Page with the NextTurn Pop-up setting. With this setting ‘On’, the Next Turn Page is automaticallydisplayed just prior to reaching each route turn. With the Next Turn Pop-up setting‘Off’, you can still display the Next Turn Page from the Current Route Page using theENTER key. Selecting “Yes” for the Shutdown On Arrival setting automatically turnsoff the GPS V after the “Arriving at Destination” message displays and your vehiclespeed drops to zero.To change a Guidance Setup Page feature:1. Follow the steps on page 54 to select the Guidance Setup Page.2. Use the ROCKER KEYPAD to highlight the feature you wish to change and pressENTER. A pop-up window will appear with selections for that feature.3.
