This feature is not available for all languages.Send Locations to Device: Allows you to send locations fromyour smartphone to your navigation device.Foursquare Check In: Allows you to check into Foursquarelocations using your navigation device.Weather updates: Sends real-time weather conditions andalerts to your device.Garmin Live Services: Provides subscription-based services toview live data on your device, such as traffic conditions,parking, and advanced weather forecasts.Pairing with Your Phone and Connecting toSmartphone LinkYou must pair your Garmin DriveSmart device with your phoneto use Bluetooth features. After the devices are paired, theyconnect automatically when they are turned on and within range.Some features require the Smartphone Link app. You canconnect to the Smartphone Link app during the pairing processor later.1 From the app store on your phone, install the SmartphoneLink app (optional).2 Place the Garmin DriveSmart device and your phone within3 m (10 ft.) of each other.3 On the Garmin DriveSmart device, select Settings >Bluetooth, and fill the Bluetooth check box.4 Select Search for Devices.5 On your phone, enable Bluetooth wireless technology, andset the phone to be discoverable.See your phone owner's manual for more information.6 On the Garmin DriveSmart device, select OK.The Garmin DriveSmart device begins searching for nearbyBluetooth devices, and a list of Bluetooth devices appears.
