■ The purpose of the warming drawerand WARM ZONE setting of the lower ovendrawer is to hold hot cooked foods at servingtemperature. Always start with hot food;cold food cannot be heated or cooked in thewarming drawer or the WARM ZONE settingof the lower oven drawer.■ Do not use the lower oven drawer to drynewspapers. If overheated, they can catchon fire.■ Do not leave paper products, plastics, cannedfood or combustible materials in the drawer.■ Never leave jars or cans of fat drippings in ornear your lower oven drawer.■ Do not warm food in the lower oven drawerfor more than two hours.■ Do not touch the heating element or theinterior surface of the lower oven drawer.These surfaces may be hot enough to burn.REMEMBER: The inside surface of the loweroven drawer may be hot when the draweris opened.■ Use care when opening the lower ovendrawer. Open the drawer a crack and lethot air or steam escape before removingor replacing food. Hot air or steam whichescapes can cause burns to hands, faceand/or eyes.■ Do not use aluminum foil to line the loweroven drawer. Foil is an excellent heat insulatorand will trap heat beneath it.
