CAm Am CLEAN~G(continued)Oven Light Bulb (on some models)The light bulb is located in the upper left corner (mayvary) of the oven. Before replacing your oven lightbulb, disconnect the electrical power to the range atthe main fuse or circuit breaker panel or unplug therange from the electrical outlet. Let the bulb coolcompletely before removing it. Replace the bulb witha 40 watt appliance bulb only. Do not touch a hot bulbwith a damp cloth as the bulb will break.Control Panel and KnobsIt’s a good idea to wipe the control panel after eachuse of the oven. Clean with mild soap and water orvinegar and water, rinse with clean water and polishdry with a soft cloth.Do not use abrasive cleansers, strong liquid cleaners,plastic scouring pads or oven cleaners on the controlpanel—they will damage the finish. A 50/50 solutionof vinegar and hot water works well.The control knobs may —~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~nob, @W.~-pull it straight off thestem. If knob is difficult ~ ‘ —to remove, place a towel ~or dishcloth between the knob and control panel andpull gently. Wash the knobs in soap and water or avinegar and hot water solution.Metal parts can be cleaned with soap and water.Do not use steel wool, abrasives, ammonia, acidsor commercial oven cleaners. Dry with a soft cloth,Removable Broiler Drawer (on some models)To remove:1. When the broiler is cool, remove the grid and pan.2. Pull the broiler drawer out until it stops, then pushit back in about one inch.3. Grasp the handle, lift and pull the broiler drawer out.Clean the broiler drawer with hot soapy water.To replace:Hold the broiler drawer in the raised position as youslide it partway into the range. Then lower the drawerand push it completely closed.Broiler Pan and GridAfter broiling, remove the broiler pan from the oven.Remove the grid from the pan. Carefully pour outgrease from the pan into a proper container. Wash andrinse the broiler pan and grid in hot water with a soap-filled or plastic scouring pad.If food has burned on, sprinkle the grid with detergentwhile hot and cover with wet paper towels or a dishcloth.Soaking the pan will remove burned on foods.The broiler pan may becleaned with a commercial Gridoven cleaner. Do not use anoven cleaner on the ~rid.Both the broiler pan and ;grid can also be cleanedin the dishwasher.“ =+Pa”Do not store a soiledbroiler pan and gridanywhere in the range.24
