The maximum setting onthe Timer is 9 hours and 59 minutes.Using the clock, timer and control lockout. www.GEAppliances.caTo Set the ClockThe clock must be set to the correct timeof day for the automatic oven timingfunctions to work properly. The time ofday cannot be changed during a timedbaking or self-cleaning cycle.Touch the CLOCK pad.Touch the number pads.Touch the START pad.To Set the TimerTouch the TIMER pad.Touch the number pads until theamount of time you want showsin the display. For example, to set2 hours and 45 minutes, touch 2, 4and 5 in that order. If you make amistake touch the TIMER pad andbegin again.Touch the START pad.After touching the START pad, SET disappears;this tells you the time is counting down, althoughthe display does not change until one minute haspassed. Seconds will not be shown in the displayuntil the last minute is counting down.When the Timer reaches :00, thecontrol will beep 3 times followedby one beep every 6 seconds untilthe TIMER pad is touched.The 6-second tone can be canceled by followingthe steps in the Special Features of Your OvenControl section under Tones at the End of aTimed Cycle.To Reset the TimerIf the display is still showing thetime remaining, you may change it bytouching the TIMER pad, then touch thenumber pads until the time you wantappears in the display.If the remaining time is not in thedisplay (clock, start time or cook timeare in the display), recall the remainingtime by touching the TIMER pad andthen touching the number pads toenter the new time you want.To Cancel the TimerTouch the TIMER pad twice.Your control will allow you to lock out the touchpads so they cannot be activated when pressed.To lock/unlock the touch pad controls:Touch and hold the 9 and 0 padsat the same time until the controlbeeps.The oven display will show Loc Onfor several seconds, then it will goblank until a cooking pad is touched.To unlock the control, touch andhold the 9 and 0 pads at the sametime until the control beeps.If the range control is locked and acooking pad is touched, the oven displaywill show that the control is locked. On models with CONTROL LOCKOUT only,the oven will be locked out. The knob-controlledsurface units will still be active.Control Lockout (on some models)15
