It remains ONuntil the knob is moved to the OFF position.■ The “Heating” signal light is located belowthe ON signal light and glows when theheating elements are active. Preheat iscomplete after the “Heating” signal hasturned off for the first timewith each use.NOTES:■ Always use the included drawer rack whenusing the Lower Oven Drawer.■ The lower oven drawer cannot be usedduring a self-clean cycle of the upper oven.■ Do not put food, foil or cookware directlyon the bottom of the lower oven drawer.Always use the included drawer rack.■ If foods require a cover, use only foil or lidsable to withstand baking temperatures. Donot use plastic.■ Maximum height of foods that can beplaced in the lower oven drawer is 4 ″.■ Do not put liquid or water in the lower ovendrawer.■ Never place plastics, paper, canned foodsor combustible material in the lower ovendrawer.The lower oven drawer may be used to bake foods using the same times and temperatures as a standard oven. Foodsideal for baking in the lower oven drawer include pizza, frozen foods, casseroles, biscuits, rolls and many desserts.Push in and turn the lower ovendrawer knob to any desiredsetting.The lower oven drawer uses less energy than the upper oven.Allow the following approximate times for preheating:Desired Lower PreheatOven Temperature TimeWARM 10 minutes350°F 20 minutes425°F 30 minutesBack of Lower Oven Knob(Appearance may vary.)You may find that your new oven cooks differently than the one it replaced. Use your new oven for a few weeksto become more familiar with it. If you still think your new oven is too hot or too cold, you can adjust thethermostat yourself.Do not use thermometers, such as those found in grocery stores, to check the temperature setting of your oven.These thermometers may vary 20–40 degrees.NOTE: This adjustment will not affect the broiling temperatures.Adjust the oven thermostat—Do it yourself!Pull the OVEN CONTROL knob offthe range and look at the back side.To make an adjustment, loosen(approximately one turn), but do notcompletely remove, the two screwson the back of the knob.With the back of the knob facing you,hold the outer edge of the knob with onehand and turn the front of the knob withthe other hand.To raise the oven temperature, move thetop screw toward the right. You’ll hear aclick for each notch you move the knob.To lower the temperature, move the topscrew toward the left.Each click will change the oven temperatureapproximately 10°F. (Range is ± 60°F. fromthe arrow.)
