See installationinstructions shipped with the bracket forcomplete details before attempting toinstall.For Free-Standing and Slide-In RangesTo check if the bracket is installed andengaged properly, look underneath therange to see that the rear leveling leg is engaged in the bracket. Onsome models, the storage drawer or kick panel can be removed for easyinspection. If visual inspection is not possible, slide the range forward,confirm the anti-tip bracket is securely attached to the floor or wall, andslide the range back so the rear leveling leg is under the anti-tip bracket.If the range is pulled from the wall for any reason, always repeat thisprocedure to verify the range is properly secured by the anti-tip bracket.Never completely remove the leveling legs or the range will not be securedto the anti-tip device properly.WARNING If the information in this manual is not followed exactly, a fire orexplosion may result, causing property damage, personal injury or death.- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity ofthis or any other appliance.- WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS■ Do not try to light any appliance.■ Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.■ Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone.
