1229-6181* Compatible Apple or Android devices and home WiFi network required.OptionsUSING THE RANGE: Options/SettingsThe options pad opens up a menu of more cooking modes when the oven is off. It opens a menu with additional featuresif a cooking mode is already in process. You can exit the menu at any time by pressing the Options pad again.You must first select a mode (bake, convection bake, convection roast) and then select Options to get to thefollowing functions.Cook TimeCounts down cooking time and turns off the oven whenthe cooking time is complete. Select a desired cookingmode. Use the number pads to program a bakingtemperature. Press the Options pad and select CookTime. Use the number pad to program cook time in hoursand minutes. Then press Start/Enter. This can onlybe used with Bake, Convection Bake, and ConvectionRoast.Delay TimeDelays when the oven will turn on. Use this to set atime when you want the oven to start. Select a desiredcooking mode. Use the number pad to program a bakingtemperature. Press the Options pad and select DelayTime. Use the number pads to program the time of dayfor the oven to turn on, and then press Start/Enter. DelayTime is not available with all modes.NOTE: When using the Delay Time feature, foods thatspoil easily – such as milk, eggs, fish, stuffing, poultry,and port – should not be allowed to sit for more than1 hour before or after cooking. Room temperaturepromotes the growth of harmful bacteria. Be sure that theoven light is off because heat from the bulb will speedharmful bacteria growth.Oven Probe (Lower Oven Only)NOTE: Only accessible through traditional andconvection cooking modes.Monitors internal food temperature and turns the ovenoff when the food reaches the programmed temperature.Insert the probe, press the desired cooking mode, andprogram the probe temperature. See the Cooking ModesSection for more information. The probe can only be usedwith Bake, Convection Bake, and Convection Roast.SettingsThe Options and Settings pads open up more detailed menus in the display that allow access to additionalfunctions. For each you select the function in the display using the associated number pad. You can exit atany time by pressing the Options or Settings pad again.WiFi Connect and Remote EnableYour oven is designed to provide you with two-waycommunication between your appliance and smartdevice. By using the WiFi Connect features, you willbe able to control essential oven operations such astemperature settings, timers and cooking modes usingyour smartphone or tablet.*Select Settings then Wifi - follow the instructions on youroven display and phone app. It is necessary to turn onWiFi before using Remote Enable on your oven.Connecting your WiFi Connect Enabled OvenWhat you will needYour GE Appliances oven uses your existing home WiFinetwork to communicate between the appliance andyour smart device. In order to setup your GE Appliancesoven, you will need to gather some information:1. Each GE Appliances oven has a connected applianceinformation label that includes an Appliance NetworkName and Password. These are the two importantdetails that you will need to connect to the appliance.The label is typically located inside the door of theoven or drawer.2. Have your smart phone or tablet ready with the abilityto access the internet and download apps.3. You will need to know the password of your homeWiFi router. Have this password ready while you aresetting up your GE Appliances oven.Connect your GE Appliances oven1. On your smart phone or tablet visitwww.GEAppliances.com/connect to learn more aboutconnected appliance features and to download theappropriate app.2. Follow the app onscreen instructions to connect yourGE Appliances oven.3.
