Bacteriawill grow very rapidly in food that is between 40and 140°F. Do not put cold food in broil drawer.Do not keep food in the broil drawer for morethan 2 hours. Failure to follow these instructionsmay result in foodborne illness. Do not leave paper products, plastics, cannedfood or combustible materials in the drawer. Theymay ignite. Do not touch the heating element or the interiorsurface of the drawer. These surfaces may behot enough to cause burns. Use care when opening the drawer. Open thedrawer a crack and let hot air or steam escapebefore removing or replacing food. Hot air orsteam that escapes can cause burns to hands,face and/or eyes. Do not use aluminum foil to line the broil drawer.Foil is an excellent heat insulator and will trapheat beneath it. This will upset the performanceof the drawer and potentially cause a fire hazard.
