By combining these options,you can also achieve optimum protection for your system.I A detailed description of the Security menu and how to assign passwordscan be found in the BIOS Setup documentation on the Fujitsu manualsserver.Preventing unauthorized BIOS Setup callsYou can activate this protection by entering a setup password in the Securitymenu. You can also suppress the Press F2 for Setup message in this menu.This message is then no longer displayed while the server's startup routine is inprogress.Preventing unauthorized system accessYou can activate this protection by entering a system password in the Securitymenu.Preventing unauthorized access to the boards with their own BIOSYou can activate this protection by selecting the Extended item for Setup PasswordLock field in the Security menu.Protecting BIOS from being overwrittenTo activate this protection, select the value Disabled for the Flash Write field inthe Security menu. |
