TheHEC provides added protection for your StylisticLT when it is being used, transported, or stored.Note the following when using the harshenvironment case:• To avoid overheating, suspend the pen tabletwhen charging the battery pack while the pentablet is in the case.• To prevent scratches, a screen protector shouldbe installed on the display window of the HEC.Two screen protectors are provided with theHEC. Additional screen protectors can beobtained using order number FMWSP8(12-pack).• If your Stylistic LT will be used both with andwithout the HEC, any screen protector on thepen tablet can be left in place. However, if thepen tablet will be used only in the HEC, anyscreen protector on the pen tablet should beremoved for better viewing.• If you use a pen tether, attach it to one of theD-rings on the back of the case.Installing the Pen Tablet in the Case 0Pull up the Velcro ® flap, unz ip the HEC, and lay itopen flat, as shown in Figure 1.Figure 1. Stylistic LT in HECOnce the system is installed in the HEC, you can eitherstore the pen in the system pen holder or it can bestored in the pen holder at the top of the HEC, asshown in Figure 3.Figure 3. To ensure good adhesion, clean the exterior surface ofthe HEC window with a soft cotton cloth dampenedwith denatured alcohol before installing the screenprotector.Note: Using denatured alcohol to clean the window mayresult in streaking when it dries. If streaking occurs,gently buff the surface with a clean, soft cloth.Pen Holder
