Also keep items that couldexplode, such as aerosol cans, away from the burners and theoven. Do not store flammable or explosive materials in adjacentcabinets or areas.IMPORTANT: Junked or abandoned appliances are dangerousand can cause a child entrapment and suffocation hazard.When taking an appliance out of service, immediately followthe instructions below to help prevent accidents:• Take off the door.• Leave the racks in place so children cannot easily climbinside.• Cut the prongs off the power cable plug and discard them.• Cut the power cable off and discard it separately from theold appliance.WARNINGWARNING – NEVER use this appliance as a space heaterto heat or warm the room. Doing so may result in carbonmonoxide poisoning and overheating of the appliance.WARNINGWARNING – NEVER cover any slots, holes or passages onthe inside or outside of the range or cover an entire rack withmaterials such as aluminum foil. Doing so blocks air flowthrough the oven and may cause carbon monoxide poisoning.Aluminum foil linings may also trap heat, causing a fire hazard.WARNINGTip-over hazard:• A child or adult can tip the range and be killed.• Attach the anti-tip bracket to the floor as directed in theseinstallation instructions.• Engage the floor mounted anti-tip bracket by sliding the anti-tip foot on the range into it according to these installationinstructions. Using a flashlight, be sure that the anti-tipbracket engages the range’s anti-tip foot as shown below.• After moving the range, be sure to re-engage the anti-tipfoot into the anti-tip bracket as shown below.• See the anti-tip bracket installation instructions in this guidefor further details.• Failure to follow these instructions can result in death orserious burns to children or adults.CALIFORNIAPROPOSITION 65 WARNINGThe burning of gas cooking fuel generates some by-productsthat are on the list of substances which are known by the Stateof California to cause cancer or reproductive harm.
