WARNING: TO AVOID SERIOUS iNJURY, BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICE ORADJUSTMENTS:1. Depress clutch/brake pedal fully and set parking brake.2. Place motion control lever in neutral position.3. Place attachment clutch in "DISENGAGED" position.4. Shut engine off and lock the SmartSwitch Ignition.5. Make sure the blades and all moving parts have completely stopped.6. Disconnect spark plug wire from spark plug and place wire where it cannot comein contact with plug.TO REMOVE MOWER1. Place attachment clutch in "DISEN-GAGED" position.2. Lower attachment lift lever to its lowestposition.3. Disengage belt tension rod (K) from lockbracket (L).CAUTION: Belt tension rod is springloaded. Have a tight grip on rod and releaseslowly.4. Remove mower belt from electric clutchpulley (M).5. Disconnect front link (E) from mower:remove retainer spring and washer.6. Go to either side of mower and discon-nect mower suspension arm (A) fromchassis and rear lift link (C) from rearmower bracket (D) - remove retainersprings and washers.7. Go to other side of mower and disconnectthe suspension arm and rear lift link.CAUTION: After rear lift links are discon-nected, the attachment lift lever will be springloaded. Have a tight grip on lift lever whenchanging position of the lever.8. From right side of mower, disconnectanti-sway bar (S) from right rear mowerbracket (D) - remove retainer spring andwasher and pull mower toward you untilthe bar falls from the hole in bracket.9. Turn tractor steering wheel to the left asfar as it will go.10. Slide mower out from under right side oftractor.TO INSTALL MOWERFollowthe procedure described in "1NSTALLMOWERAND DRIVE BELT" in theAssemblysection of this manual.A. Mower Side Suspension ArmsB.
