See Figure 7.Forward: Push the control handle forward or down.Splitting wedge moves toward the end plate.Neutral: Control handle will return to neutral positionwhen handle is released. Splitting wedges stops inplace.Reverse: When pulling the control handle up or back,the splitting wedge moves toward the cylinder. Thecontrol handle will lock in the disengaged position. Itwill return to neutral automatically when thedisengage stroke is complete.BeamLocksThere are two position locks for each operatingposition. See Figure 7.Vertical: The vertical position lock is located next tothe oil filter.Horizontal: The horizontal position lock is part of thebeam support latch bracket.EngineControlsThrottleControlPermits selection of fast or slow engine speed.PrimerUsed to start a cold engine. Do not use itto restart awarm engine after a short shut-down.Starter HandleThe starter handle is located on the engine.
