Reinstallthe oil fill dipstick.ChangeEngineOilGasolineand its vaporsare extremely flammable andexplosive.Fireorexplosioncancausesevereburnsor death.Changeengineoilafterthefirstfivehoursofoperation,andeveryfifty hoursoronceaseasonthereafter.Whenyou drain the oil from the top oil fill tube, the fuel tank must beempty or fuel canleak out andresult in afire or explosion.Toempty thefuel tank, runthe engine until it stopsfrom lackof fuel.1. Withengineoff but still warm,disconnectthe sparkplugwire (F)andkeepitawayfromthe sparkplug.2. Placeasuitablecontainernext to theengineto catchthe usedoil.3. Removethe oil fill dipstick(E)anddrainthe o11into the containerbytippingthe enginetowardthe oil filler neck.SeeFigure1ZUsedoil is a hazardouswaste product. Disposeof usedoil properly. Donotdiscardwith householdwaste. Checkwith your localauthorities or SearsServiceCenterfor safe disposal/recyclingfacilities.4. Withthe enginein alevelposition,fill to the upperlimit markonthe dipstickwith the recommendedoil.Runningthe engine with a low oil level cancauseengine damage.5.
