Note:Makesurethat the bolt's shoulderis completelyrecessedintothe seat bracketwhensecuringthe lock nut. Oncethe lock nuts aresecured,checkto makesurethe seat pivotsup and downfreely.Seethe inset in Figure5.Figure 3ATTACHING THE SEATIf the seatfor yourtractorwas notattachedat thefactory,follow theapplicableinstructionsbelowto attachit.1. Removethetwo self-tappingboltsfactory installedon the tractorand placethe seat bracketin placeoverthe holes. See Figure5.2. Usinga 1/4-inchdrive ratchetwith a 3/8" socket,securetheseatbracketwith the self-tappingbolts.Do notuse anytype of powertool (e.g. impactgun or electricdrill withnutdriverattached)when tighteningthe self-tappingboltsto attachthe seatbracket.3. Positionthe seat assemblyoverthe seat mountingbracket,aligningthe holesprovided.4. Installtwo shoulderbolts includedwith yourhardwarepackandsecurewith two lock nuts.
