Withthe tractorparkedon afirm, levelsurface,placethe leverforlifting theplatformonthe secondto the top notch(secondhighestposition)androtatethe bladeascloseaspossibletothe dischargechannelthat isparallelto thetractor.2. Measurethe distancefrom the front ofthe bladetip to the groundandtherearofthe bladetip to the ground.Thefirst measurementtakenshouldbebetween1/4"and3/8"lessthanthe secondmeasurement.Determinethe approximatedistancenecessaryfor properadjustmentandproceed,ifnecessary,to the next step.3. Locatetheflangelocknut on the front sideofthe stabilizerbracket.SeeFigure13.Tightenthe flangelocknut to raisethe front of thedeck;Loosenthe flangelocknut to lowerthe front ofthe deck.JFigure13Ifthe cuttingdeckappearsto be mowingunevenly,asideto sideadjustmentcanbeperformed.Adjustif necessaryasfollows:1. Loosen,but do NOTremove,the hexcapscrewonthe left deckhangerbracket.SeeFigure14.4. Balancethe deckbyusingawrenchto turn the adjustmentgear(foundimmediatelybehindthe hexcapscrewjust loosened)clockwise/uporcounterclockwise/down.Thedeckisproperlybalancedwhenbothbladetipmeasurementstakenearlierareequal.5.
