Open and pull out thepaper rest and the output tray.12345Remove the print head from its package.Print NozzleElectrical ContactsLower the gray lock lever until it locksinto place.Raise the gray lock lever.Gently slide the print head into the holder.The print head will rest at a slight angle.Do not press it down.Turn the print head over, then removethe orange protective cap.NOTE: Do not touch the electrical contacts.54312Shipping TapeRemove the shipping tape from the frontand sides of the printer.21Plug the power cord into the back of theprinter and connect the other end to apower outlet.Write down the serial number located tothe right of the print head. You will needthis later to register the product.Press the POWER button.Open the front cover. The print head holderautomatically moves to the center.
