28Using the Wireless ControllerWhen you press the buttons on the wirelesscontroller, point it at one of the camcorder’sremote sensors.The camcorder has three remote sensors: two at thefront and one at the back.Inserting the BatteriesThe wireless controller operates with two AA (R6)batteries.1. Open the battery cover.2. Insert the batteries following the + and –markings.3. Close the battery cover. The camcorder and wireless controller are equipped with 2 remote sensor modes ( 109). If thewireless controller does not work, check if the camcorder and wireless controller are set to thesame mode. When the camcorder cannot be operated with the wireless controller, or when it can only beoperated at very close range, replace the batteries. Make sure to replace both batteries at thesame time. The wireless controller may not work properly when the remote sensor is located under strong lightsources or direct sunlight.
