24Other OperationsThis section describes how to perform various operations in theScanner Wireless Connection Utility.To Disconnect the ScannerWhen the device is not to be used, or when it is to be used withanother computer on the same wireless network, disconnect thedevice. After clicking the device in the list on the main screen, click .When “Available” is displayed next to the device in the device list, thedevice has been disconnected.To send a disconnect requestIf another computer is already connected to the device, your computercannot connect to it until the other computer disconnects from thescanner. In this case, you can send a disconnect request to thecomputer using the device.After clicking the device in the list on the main screen, click .When the computer receiving the request disconnects, “Available” isdisplayed for the device in the device list, and you can connect yourcomputer to the device.HintIn the opposite situation, the following screen is displayed when adisconnect request is received. Click [Yes] to disconnect. |
