Video56Dividing ScenesYou can divide scenes (original scenesonly) in order to leave out the best partsand later cut out the rest.1 Open the original movies indexscreen./ / You can selectthe movies in the built-in memory oron the memory card ( 40).2 Select ( , ) the scene youwant to divide.3 Open the scene division screen.[ DIVIDE]The scene selected will start playingback.4 Select ( ) the icon and presswhere you want to divide thescene.• You can use the following icons tobring the scene to a precise point./ : Fast playback reverse/forward./ : Skip to the beginning/end of the current scene./ : Frame reverse/advance.• Press or to stop theplayback and exit the scenedivision screen.5 Select ( ) [YES] and press .• A progress bar will be displayed onthe screen.• You can press to cancel theoperation while it is in progress.6 When the confirmation screenappears, press .The video from the division point tothe end of the scene will appear as anew scene in the index screen.NOTES• In this mode, the scene playback willpause only at points where the scenecan be divided.• The following scenes cannot be divided:- Scenes included in the sceneselection (marked with acheckmark). Remove the selectionmark in advance.- Scenes too short (5 seconds orshorter).- Video Snapshot scenes- Scenes that were not recorded withthis camcorder.• Scenes cannot be divided within2 seconds from the beginning or the endof the scene.• During the playback of a scene that wasdivided, you may notice someanomalies in the picture/sound at thepoint where the scene was cut.Editing the Playlist: Adding, Deletingand Moving Playlist ScenesCreate a playlist to play back only thescenes you prefer and in the order ofyour choice and even set them to music( 47). You can also create a playlistthat contains only Video SnapshotPlaylist and Scene Operations( 25)FUNC.FUNC.COPY
