This periodlasts for 2.5 years from the date of manufacture. Using a cartridge after this period may reduce printquality.The Toner CartridgeHandling and Storing Cartridgeso Do not expose the cartridge to direct sunlight or bright lightfor longer than ve minutes.o Do not open the drum protective shutter on the cartridge. Ifthe drum surface is exposed to light and damaged, printquality may deteriorate.o Do not stand the cartridge on end, and do not turn it upsidedown. If toner becomes caked in the cartridge, it may proveimpossible to free it even by shaking the cartridge.o Keep the cartridge away from computer screens, disk drives,and oppy disks. The magnet inside the cartridge may harmthese items.o Never touch the drum protective shutter. When holding thecartridge avoid touching the drum protective shutter withyour hands.o Do not store the cartridge in direct sunlight.o Avoid locations subject to high temperature, high humidity,or rapid changes in temperature. Store the cartridge between32˚ and 95˚ F (0˚ and 35˚ C).o Hold the cartridge as shown so that your hand is nottouching the drum’s protective shutter.HDD
