1-26FAX-L350 Chapter 1: General DescriptionFigure 1-16 Unit Cautions (5)Connecting the Power CordFollow these guidelines when connecting your FAX-L350 to a powersource:o The FAX-L350 is intended for domestic use only and requires200–240V AC.purchased.Do not use it outside the country where it waso Use only the power cord that came with the unit. Using a longer cordor extension cord can cause the FAX-L350 to malfunction.o Unplug the unit only by pulling on the plug itself. Never pull on thecord.o Do not plug the FAX-L350 into an outlet shared with anappliance such as an air conditioner, computer, electric typewriter, orcopier. These devices generate electrical noise, which can interferewith the operation of the FAX-L350.o Make sure nothing is laying on the power cord, and that the cordcannot be walked on or tripped over.o Do not overload the electrical outlet. Make sure the total amperageused by all the machines plugged into the outlet does not exceed theampere rating of the outlet’s circuit breaker.o Do not plug the unit into an uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
