CLC 5100/4000 Service GuideVIII. Technical TrainingA. OverviewTechnicians who have already received certification on the CLC 5000 willreceive automatic certification on the CLC 5100/4000. In conjunction with thelaunch of the CLC 5100/4000 the Educational Services Department willrelease a CLC 5100 Update Guide (available November 3, 2003). Theupdate guide will cover information specific to the CLC 5100/4000 along withadditional information required to support the ColorPASS-Z6000/7000.The update guide will be sent to all CLC 5000 Trained Technicians and theinformation in it will be incorporated into in the CLC 5000 training program.For those technicians who have not completed the Color Laser Copiertraining course, Color Connectivity Quest is a prerequisite course for the CLC1000/2400/3100/3900/5000 five-day training course. Upon completion of thiscourse, certification will be awarded for all the CLC models listed, includingthe CLC 5100/4000.For further information, and classroom availability, please refer to the Trainingsection on the e-Support website.B.
