When this function is enabled, the scannerstores those Code 93 barcodes that start with a space (excluding the start and stopsymbols), and does not immediately transmit the data. The scanner stores the data inthe order in which the barcodes are read, deleting the first space from each. The scannertransmits the appended data whenit reads a Code 93 barcode that starts with a character other than a space. If the data receiveddoes not display with the proper characters, it may be because the barcode being scannedwas created using a code page that is different from the one the host program is expecting.If this is the case, scan the barcode below, select the code page with which the barcodeswere created (see ISO 2022/ISO 646 Character Replacements on page A-8), and scan thevalue and the Save barcode from the Programming Chart on the inside the back cover ofthis manual.
