Air is drawn in throughinlets at the base/front and exits via 3fans mounted to the rear of the core.The speed of each fan is monitored andSystem Status error reports are generatedfor any failures. Air inlets and fans shouldbe left clear and unobstructed to ensureair can flow through the card frame. Noclearance is required above or below thecore for cooling.SupportThe weight at the rear of the core shouldbe adequately supported to preventstress on the front racking angles. This isparticularly important when the units aremounted in mobile installations. Calrecwill not accept liability for damage causedby insufficient support.Calrec supply adjustable rear support railswith each Summa core that can be fittedduring installation if required. The supportrails can be fitted in different positionsdepending on the depth of the bay beingused. Rear racking angles slide over thesupport rails so the depth can be adjustedto match the position of the rear corefixings in the equipment bay.Air drawn in through inlets at the base/front and exits via 3 rear-mounted fans
