The installation and provisions for combustion and ventilationair must conform with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z233.1/NFPA 54, Section 5.3, Air for Combustion and Ventilation.11. Do not run log set• where flammable liquids or vapors are used or stored• under dusty conditions12. Do not burn solid fuel in the fireplace after installing the logset. Do not use this log set to cook food or burn paper orother objects.13. Log set becomes very hot when in use. Keep children and adultsaway from hot surface to avoid burns or clothing ignition. Logset will remain hot for a time after shut-down. Allow surfaceto cool before touching.14. Carefully supervise young children when they are in the roomwith log set.15. When using a GA9050A-1 or GA9150A control system, donot use this appliance if any part has been under water. Imme-diately call a qualified service technician to inspect the appli-ance and to replace any part of the control system and any gascontrol which has been under water.16. To help prevent breakage, new logs must be broken-in (seeCuring Logs, page 10).17. Turn log set off and let cool before servicing, installing, or repair-ing. Only a qualified service person should install, service, or re-pair log set. |
