This function alsoperforms a Computed Timing Check for EEC-IV vehiclesmanufactured from 1984 through 1991.✓ The DTCs are transmitted in two formats which transmit the sameinformation:• Slow Codes are regular service codes that allow the user to identifythe faults with an analog voltmeter or the check engine light. SlowCodes are transmitted within 3 minutes.• Fast Codes are transmitted within seconds and must be read witha diagnostic tool.
