While on one call, a second call ringsin to your phone.• You hear one beep.• The display tells you the name andnumber of the second caller and theline/call appearance key number.2. To answer the second call:• Press the Answer softkey for thesecond call.Or• Press the Line key of the secondcall.If you already have a call on hold whenthe second call rings in, the second callgoes directly to voicemail.• The first caller is placed on hold.• You are connected to the secondcaller.See Manage Multiple Calls On Holdfor information on alternating betweencalls.Message Desk OperatorA Message Desk Operator receives calls on behalf of other parties and forwards the callsto the original destination mailboxes.Step Action Result1.
