Description of the Appliance818 42 69-00/2 17Control Panel1 ON/OFF button2 Temperature display3 Buttons for adjusting the temperature4 COOLMATIC button and COOLMATIC indicator light (yellow)• COOLMATIC for intensive cooling in the refrigerator5 ALARM OFF buttonButtons for Adjusting the TemperatureThe temperature is adjusted using the„+“ (WARMER) and „-“ (COLDER) buttons.These buttons are connected to the temperature display.• The temperature display is switched over from the display of theACTUAL temperature (Temperature display is illuminated) to thedisplay of the DESIRED temperature (Temperature display flashes) bypressing one of the two buttons, „+“ (WARMER) or „-“ (COLDER).• Each time one of the two buttons is pressed again the DESIRED tem-perature is adjusted by 1 °C.• If neither button is pressed, the temperature display automaticallyswitches back after a short period (approx. 5 sec.) to the display ofthe ACTUAL temperature.DESIRED temperature means:The temperature that is required in the fridge compartment, this can beadjusted to the temperatures shown in the display. The DESIREDtemperature is indicated by flashing numbers.ACTUAL temperature means:The temperature display indicates the temperature that is currentlypresent in the fridge compartment. The ACTUAL temperature isindicated with illuminated numbers.
