INSTALLATIONWARNING!Refer to the Safety chapters.The built-in unit must meet thestability requirements of DIN68930.The oven is designed to be connectedto 230 - 240V ~ (50Hz) electricity supply.The oven has an easily accessible termi-nal block which is marked as follows:Letter L - Live terminalLetter N - Neutral terminal- Earth terminalCAUTION!This oven must be earthed!The cable used to connect the oven tothe electrical supply must comply to thespecifications given below.For UK use onlyConnection via Min. size Cable/flexCable/flex type FuseCooker ControlCircuit2,5 mm² PVC / PVC twinand earthmin: 15 Amax: 20 AIt is necessary that you install a doublepole switch between the oven and theelectricity supply (mains), with a mini-mum gap of 3 mm between the switchcontacts and of a type suitable for therequired load in compliance with thecurrent regulations.The switch must not break the yellowand green earth cable at any point.After installation and connecting,the cable must be placed so thatit cannot at any point reach atemperature of more than 50°Cabove the ambient temperature.Before the oven is connected,check that the main fuse and thedomestic installation can supportthe load; and that the power sup-ply is properly earthed.The manufacturer declines any respon-sibility should these safety measuresnot be carried out.min.3 mm32 www.aeg.com
