3.1 Semi-Annual Maintenance (cont’d)3. Slide out both filters from the unit[(1) in the illustration beside].4. Slide out the core from the unit[(2) in the illustration beside].5. Clean the inside walls of the unitwith a clean damp cloth, thenwipe with a clean dry one.6. Wash the 2 core filters under hotwater with mild soap. Rinsethoroughly and let dry completelybefore reinstalling on the core.7. Remove the dust on the core usinga vacuum cleaner and a soft brushattachment. VD02088. Slide in the cleaned core into the unit (seeillustration beside).9. Slide in the cleaned filters into the unit.NOTE: For HRV 90H-V ECM only, blue sideof filters must be on top.3.2 Annual MaintenanceDo the same operations as the Semi-Annual Maintenance (Section 3.1). Then, cleanthe exterior hood(s).10. Reinstall the door. Secure it with both mechanical screws 8-32 x 1” previouslyremoved and plug the unit.NOTE: The unit will return to its previous setting after a 30-second delay forboot sequence.3.
