CAUTION WHEN INSTALLING THE MACHINE3.1 Electrical power requirementBefore connecting the machine to the power,check that :- The tension of the machine correspondswith the tension of your electrical network.- The electrical connection requires a plugcompatible with CEI 60309-1.- The electrical connection should comply withinstallation norm NFC 15 100.3.2 Installation- Install the laminator on a flat and stable floor,next to an easily accessible plug.- Do not touch the socket with damp hands.- To unplug the machine, disconnect the plugwithout pulling on the supply lead.- To prevent electric shocks, do not use thislaminating machine close to water.- Leave a large enough working area in frontand behind the machine.- Do not spill water on the machine, the supplylead or the electric socket.- Do not use the machine if the supply lead isdamaged.- Do not leave the electric lead in contact with awarm surface.- The machine should be installed in a well-ventilated place.3.3 Safety information :User’s risks indicationAccording to the actual regulations listed in (#1),user’s risks are located and noticed on thelaminator in the following manner :Electrical shocks hazards :This sign indicates that thereare electrical componentsinside the machine. Openingthis area should be done byaqualified technician when themachine is off tension and notlinked to the power.Crushing riskThis sign on the feeding trayalerts about risks for fingers,hands, clothes, hairs… to becrushed into the rollers eitherspinning or being set intopressure.
