35SECTION D - ELECTRIC INSTALLATION8. INSTALLATIONIn this section you will find all the informationnecessary to electrically connect the MEC MIX seriesgenerators.8.1 HOW TO CONNECT THE GENERATOR TOELECTRIC LINE- Electrical connections must be made fromprofessionally qualified staff. In each case, beforemaking electrical connections, make sure there isno voltage in the cables.1. Check that the supply voltage is 230V - 50Hz singlephase.2. Make the electrical connection according to theelectrical assembly scheme using a cable typeH05 VVF 3x1.5 mm2 with external diametermaximum of 8.4 mm.3. Make the electrical connection so that the groundcable is longer than those under tension. It will bethe last cable to tear off in case it comes accidentallypulled the power cord and a good continuity willtherefore be assured land.- The electrical safety of the appliance is reachedonly when the same is correctly connectedto an effective grounding system, performed asrequired by current safety regulations. Do not usethe gas pipes as grounding Electrical devices.4. The generator must be connected to the lineelectrical supply by means of a switch bipolar withminimum contact opening of 3 mm. The bipolarswitch is defined as the one with possibility ofopening both on the phase and on the neutral. Thismeans that at its opening both contacts are open.- Control cables (in particular that of connection tothe chrono thermostat) must be protected byinterference created by power cables. This, adexample, it can be obtained or by means ofshielding of cables or by laying in racewaysseparate from those in which cables are usedpower.8.2 DIGITAL CHRONOTHERMOSTATINSTALLATION- Electrical connections must be made fromprofessionally qualified staff. In each case, beforemaking electrical connections, make sure there isno voltage in the cables For the installation of thedigital chrono thermostat proceed as follows:1. Locate the location where you intend to installthe chrono thermostat trying to position it at approx1.5 m from the floor, protected from drafts, directexposure to sun rays, influence from direct heatingsources (lamps, air flows of the appliance itself,etc.) and possibly NOT on walls bordering theoutside, for not distort the detected temperatureand then the operation of the system.YOU WILL AVOID SO STARTING AND NOARRESTS OF THE IMPLANT AND YOU WILLGUARANTEE AN OPTIMAL COMFORTENVIRONMENT.If this is not possible, screen the chrono thermostatinterposing a sheet of insulating material (cork,polystyrene or other) between it and the wall.2. Drill the wall at the points of fixing the chronothermostat.3. Fasten the chrono thermostat with 2 expansionscrews.4. The chrono thermostat is supplied alreadyconnected to the electronic board of the generatorvia a cable 5 meters long. For longer lengths at 5meters use a 2-pole cable section 0.75 mm 2 withmaximum resistance per conductor (Use a shieldedcable if the installation has strong electricaldisturbances). In any case, the cable can notbe more than 30 meters long. |
