(1.5 m) from the edge of thepool. CANADA: Per CEC® requirements, keepthe control unit at least three (3) m (10 ft.) from theedge of the pool.• Only connect the control unit to a receptacleprotected by a ground fault circuit interrupter(GFCI). Contact a certified electrician if you cannotverify that the receptacle is protected by a GFCI.• Do not use an extension cord to connect the controlunit.• Do not allow anyone to swim while the cleaner is inthe pool.For your safety and to obtain the best possibleperformance from your cleaner, connect the cleaner’sfloating cable to the control unit and thread connectoruntil it is snug. Do not overtighten.
