82Configuring the Guard PlanYou can set a valid guard period by configuring a guard plan. The device can report alarms and triggerassociated actions only in this period. You can set different guard periods as required.NOTE!Device alarm (including fan alarm and temperature alarm) and the video loss alarm are deployed aroundthe clock and cannot be withdrawn. They are reported as long as corresponding alarm functions areenabled.Steps Screenshot1. Choose Menu > Alarm2. Select the desired alarm type byclicking the corresponding tab,select the desired camera fromthe list, and then click GuardPlan. The Guard Plan tab page isdisplayed.3. Configure a general plan first andthen an exception plan. After youset a time period for theexception plan, click Addschedule to add it.Note:On the day(s) of the exceptional plan, the guardplan is effective only during the specified timeperiod. On other days, the general plan isexecuted.4. Click Ok.
