8Thermostat Control LightThe thermostat control indicator will come on whenthe thermostat control knob is turned. The indicatorwill remain on until the correct temperature isreached. It will then cycle on and off to show thetemperature is being maintained.Safety ThermostatTo prevent dangerous overheating (throughincorrect use of the appliance or defectivecomponents), the oven is fitted with a safetythermostat, which interrupts the power supply. Theoven switches back on again automatically, whenthe temperature drops.Should the safety thermostat trigger due to incorrectuse of the appliance, it is enough to remedy the errorafter the oven has cooled down; if on the other hand,the thermostat triggers because of a defectivecomponent, please contact Customer Service.Cooling FanThe cooling fan is designed to cool the oven andthe control panel. The fan switches on automaticallyafter a few minutes of cooking. Warm air is blownout through the aperture near the oven doorhandle. When the oven is switched off, the fan willremain on in order to cool the oven and kitchencabinets properly, after which it switches offautomatically.The action of the cooling fan will dependon how long the oven has been used andat what temperature. It may not switch in atall at lower temperature settings nor runon where the oven has only been usedfor a short time.
