13The grill pan and handleThe grill pan has a removable handle. Attach and remove as described belowTo attach. Press thebutton on the handlewith the thumb andinsert the lip into thewidest part of thebracket.Slide the handletowards the left andrelease the button.To Remove. Pressthe button on thehandle with the thumband slide the handletowards the right.Release the button.Ensure the handle is properly located.Place the grill pan on the shelf so that the pan ispositioned centrally beneath the grill. Ensurethat the cut out on the underside of the handlebracket locates between the bars of the shelfand over the cross bar on the shelf.Protect your hands when removing the grillpan handle. Always remove the grill panhandle during grilling. To check the progress of the food being grilled,the grill pan should be withdrawn on the shelf toattend to food during cooking.
